Hey there,

did we already mention how much we appreciate your interest? Thanks again.

The Story

So to introduce ourselves, the Toronto Coffee Pass will launch in 2027, featuring 27 of Toronto's top and up-and-coming independent cafés. Between January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027, you can explore 27 different cafes and enjoy 27 complimentary* beverages. Think of it as an annual coffee adventure! We want to encourage folks to explore new corners of the city and support our families and friends behind the counter.

Supporting local talent is really important to us. So where we can, from print material to artwork to the community programs we support, we’ll do our best to keep it small.

The goal is to have our yearly Passes be drawn by a local, Toronto-based artist.

The Brief

Thanks for reading so far! We’re looking for an artist to design the 2027 Pass. Customers will be able to grab a printed Pass online, in-person at a participating cafés across the city, or opt for a digital Pass.

Your design will be the first thing customers see on our website, in their hand (a printed Pass) and every time they open our app. And they’ll see it often! The app where customers browse participating cafés, discover offers, write reviews, and manage their drink redemptions. We see the printed Pass as a little collectable memory of their adventure.

Your artwork will also appear on other media such as posters displayed in cafés and around the city, and in our paid ads. You’ll be credited on our social channels and have an artist profile on our website with link backs. You’ll be recognized alongside cafés partners and sponsors who are championing a local community program like The Children’s Book Bank (who’s fighting a really good fight, by the way).

With that said, the awkward part: this is an unpaid collaboration with a pretty quick turnaround time. Double whammy. Completely understandable if we don’t align at the moment. To be entirely transparent, you may hear sponsors, but 100% of their contribution will go directly to the community program. We’ll have more flexibility for paid partnerships in 2028, so hopefully we can circle back then. If you wish to decline, please jump to the end and tap no.

But if you have time to join us for a fun project, keep scrolling to RSVP.

Fun. Colourful. Playful. Bold. Charming. Think food and drink, friendship, city life. Choose a focus or a sprinkle of everything. ↘

Our card holder is going to be a disco ball dome because why not? The artwork does not need to match or be disco themed, but the  message is joy.

The Children’s Book Bank

In a digital world with unhealthy amounts of screen time, nurturing curiosity, reading and storytelling is as important as ever.

The Children’s Book Bank is a vital community initiative that puts books directly in the hands of kids across Toronto, inviting learners of all reading levels and backgrounds.

With 4 hubs across the city, they’re truly a welcoming space for everyone. Teens and parents with their children can pop in 7 days a week and pick up a book for free, no registration, fees, membership, or ID required.

Since 2008, they’ve given away over 2 million books to kids across the city and continue to grow their literacy programs through weekly community events, free visits for schools, daycares, and summer camps.

Beyond cafés and businesses, there are many helping hands that shape our community. Take a moment to get to know the organizations that care for us.

Our 2027 Community Spotlight:   www.childrensbookbank.com

Our goal is to spark curiousity. It will always be about helping others in small, but meaningful ways. The wild dream? To be a recognized City of Toronto staple that locals look forward to and a must-try experience for tourists alike. It would be cool if you tagged along!

The Toronto Coffee Pass is a little project by A Little Community Project. We have a number of similar opportunities coming up. Use the form below if you want to move forward or keep you in mind for 2028.

So, should we save you a spot?
